Local Election and Political Process Expert
Position Summary
ME&A is in search of a Local Election and Political Process Expert for the Mid-Term Performance Evaluation for the Strengthening Electoral and Political Processes (SEPP) project. The purpose of this mid-term performance evaluation is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Strengthening Electoral and Political Processes (SEPP) project in achieving its intended results. The mid-term performance evaluation will also examine if the project was implemented according to the intention of the project design to improve electoral and political environment in Georgia; and provide recommendations on where USAID should concentrate its efforts in 2019 and beyond.
Education and Experience:
- The Local Expert must have justifiable experience in civic engagement in political and electoral processes in Georgia, with particular focus on inclusion of people with disabilities, ethnic minorities and/or women.
- Master’s degree in the field of political science, social science or other relevant field.
- Experience of participating as a team member in conducting a USAID or other donor-funded project assessments/evaluations will be an advantage.
- Expertise in in gender-related issues is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Fluency in Georgian - both speaking and reading are required.
- English language knowledge and good writing skills are required.
