ME&A Welcomes Summer Intern
ME&A’s new summer intern is Anya Lilaoonwala. She is a senior at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, majoring in economics and political science and minoring in legal studies. Anya grew up in Bethesda, MD, and attended Holton Arms School. She has traveled extensively in more than 20 countries and spent the fall 2016 semester in Copenhagen.
This is not Anya’s first internship. She spent last summer as an intern at the International Civil Society Network (ICAN) in Washington, DC, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting women’s rights and securities in countries facing conflict. She also worked with the Second Chance Employment Services (SCES), a nonprofit that concentrates on providing financial security for at-risk women through employment placement.
At Bucknell, Anya is a teaching assistant for Management 101, a course that teaches students how to organize and manage their own companies. She also serves as the Personnel Chair for the Chi Mu Chapter of the Chi Omega sorority, and is Vice President of Do Random Acts of Kindness (DoRAK), an organization that promotes selfless acts of kindness in the community. When she has a free moment Anya loves to play tennis, cook and sing. Welcome aboard, Anya!
