Mid-Level Recruiter for Food Aid Program Assistance
ME&A is recruiting a Mid-Level Recruiter to support USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA) in its operational and administrative support in the coordination of their programs of international disaster response and humanitarian assistance; emergency and developmental food aid: conflict mitigation programs; transition activities; and, other DCHA Bureau initiatives.
The Mid-Level Recruiter will establish recruiting requirements by studying the client’s organization plans and objectives, and will meet with division managers to discuss its needs. She/he will develop applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport. He/She will determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. The Mid-Level Recruiter will prepare solicitations, and will review responses to solicitations. She/he will determine applicant qualifications analyzing responses, and will compare qualifications to job requirements. She/He will prepare application books for members of selection committee. The Mid-Level Recruiter will arrange interviews by coordinating schedules, and verify references. The Mid-Level Recruiter will contribute to improving client’s attractiveness as a workplace by recommending new policies and practices. Other qualifications include:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management or related fields;
- At least (6) six years of working experience in recruitment and HR.
- Experience working in the areas of food and nutrition, and humanitarian assistance:
- Experience working with USAID is a plus.
