Junior Level Contract Specialist
ME&A is recruiting a Junior to support USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA) in its operational and administrative support in the coordination of their programs of international disaster response and humanitarian assistance; emergency and developmental food aid: conflict mitigation programs; transition activities; and, other DCHA Bureau initiatives.
The Junior Level Contract Specialist will assist in the review of standard and complex contract language for completeness and accuracy. She/He will assist in the contract negotiation function and prepare specialized and/or non-routine responses for contract modifications. The Junior Contract Specialist will assist with monitoring contractor performance and resolving problems. Assist in the close-out of existing contract. Thethe Junior Level Contract Specialist will maintain contract records and contract files documenting contract performance and compliance, and manage contractor database. Other qualifications include:
- At least a Master’s Degree in economics or related fields;
- At least (3) years of experience managing and developing contracts;
- Knowledge of Federal contract regulations;
- Experience working with USAID is a plus.
