ME&A to Sponsor SID-Washington Conference

This year’s event took place on Wednesday, May 27th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. ME&A hosted a booth with information on its current and past development projects and future employment possibilities. ME&A Awarded USAID YouthPower IDIQ Contract

Youth USAIDUSAID recently awarded to ME&A the YouthPower: Evidence and Evaluation Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to research and evaluate youth programming and facilitate technical leadership and dissemination of knowledge in the field of positive youth development. The YouthPower: Evidence and Evaluation IDIQ will cover a range of functions related to the design, evaluation, research, knowledge management, learning, and communications of cross-sectoral youth development programming. This is a multiple award IDIQ with an overall ceiling of $72 million.

Since 2010, ME&A has conducted more than 55 evaluations and assessments in over 25 countries for USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the U.S. Department of State under multiple USAID contracts, as well as under MOBIS and other federal contracts.

ME&A Awarded USAID Monitoring & Evaluation IDIQ

Banner ME&AUSAID awarded ME&A the Policy, Planning and Learning-Learning, Evaluation and Research (PPL-LER) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to provide evaluation, monitoring and assessment services for USAID missions and offices worldwide. This is a multiple award IDIQ with an overall ceiling of $455 million.

Under this Monitoring and Evaluation IDIQ, ME&A will provide USAID’s Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning (USAID/PPL) technical and advisory services for performance and impact evaluations, evaluation and performance monitoring capacity building, and performance monitoring activities, at the mission, bureau, and Agency-wide levels.

This is a follow-on contract to USAID’s Evaluation Services IQC, which ME&A held from September 2009 through March 2015. During this period, ME&A conducted more than 55 evaluations and assessments in over 25 countries for USAID, MCC and the U.S. Department of State under USAID's Evaluation Services and Caucasus Mission Evaluation IQCs, MOBIS and other federal contracts.

ME&A Supports USAID’s Kosovo Property Rights Program

Kosovo PRP (420x279)ME&A currently supports USAID’s Kosovo Property Rights Program (PRP) as a subcontractor to Tetra Tech. The project team conducts assessments of municipal real property processes and identifies potential government-to-government (G2G) activities to improve service delivery by making property transactions in local governments and national agencies more efficient.

Carlos Beale, Vice President of ME&A, spent a month Kosovo PRP1 (420x315)in Kosovo in the fall of 2014 mapping immovable property procedures. He prepared an analysis of municipal business processes and practices in local governments on the exchange of real property information among municipal departments and between municipalities, the courts, and central agencies related to land administration and property transaction practices.

In all, a total of seven municipalities in Kosovo were evaluated during this visit, including their Municipal Cadaster Offices, Property Tax Offices, Civil Registry Offices, Urban Planning and Geodesic Departments, as well as Citizen Service Centers and other relevant local government entities.

ME&A Launches New WADI IDIQ Website

Wadi Screeshot V2 (420x236)ME&A is pleased to announce the launch of its new “Water and Development IDIQ' (WADI) website www.wadi-mea.com on World Water Day. The new site will feature ME&A’s services and expertise in water resources available under the new USAID WADI IDIQ.

Under WADI, ME&A will provide USAID's E3 Bureau with services and technical support to assist Agency Missions, Bureaus and Offices worldwide in the implementation of USAID's new Water and Development Strategy.

The new website will link ME&A and its partners to USAID initiatives and will highlight ME&A’s water-related activities and capabilities worldwide. The new website will contain success stories as well as information on how to access ME&As services under the WADI contract.Among the services ME&A and its partners will offer, include water programming to improve health through the delivery of sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), as well as water resource management in agriculture for enhanced food security.

Since 2005, ME&A has been providing innovative solutions to integrated Water and Natural Resources Management incorporating the latest technology in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and computer modeling to help its clients improve access to water resources, address climate change, develop clean energy, and help communities in the developing world to achieve food security and better hygiene standards.
